How are the magic items chosen?

Each tier uses a rarity weighting based on D&D 5e treasure expectations — minor tiers favour common and uncommon items, while a hoard skews toward rare, very rare and legendary items drawn from a curated list.

Are the rolls random and fair?

Yes. Gold amounts, gem values and item rarities all use the browser's Web Crypto API with modulo bias removed, so the distribution is genuinely random within each tier's ranges.

Is anything sent to a server?

No. All generation happens locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and rerolling never contacts the network.
