How is a weighted grade calculated?

Each component's score is multiplied by its weight, the results are summed, and the total is divided by the sum of the weights. Components with a larger weight count more toward the final grade.

What if my weights do not add up to 100%?

The calculator still works — it normalises by the total weight you entered — and shows a note so you can check whether a category is missing. If the weights should total 100%, the note flags when they do not.

Is anything uploaded?
