It sums every point you earned across all assignments and divides by the total points possible, then converts that percentage to a letter grade (A 90+, B 80+, C 70+, D 60+, F below 60).

Can I use it for unequal assignments?

Yes. Because it works on raw points earned versus points possible, a 200-point final automatically counts more than a 20-point quiz. For percentage weights instead, use the weighted grade calculator.
