Work and power calculator

Work is energy transferred by a force: W = F × d × cos θ, measured in joules (J). The cosine term accounts for force applied at an angle to the motion — only the component along the direction of travel does work.

Power is the rate of doing work: P = W / t in watts (W), or equivalently P = F × v for a force moving an object at velocity v.
