Roasting time by weight and doneness
Cooking times depend on the cut, its weight and how well done you want it. This calculator uses standard oven-roasting guidelines at 180°C / 350°F and adds a fixed base time, then shows the safe internal temperature to check with a thermometer.
Times are estimates — oven calibration, bone, and starting temperature all matter. Always confirm doneness with a probe thermometer and rest the joint before carving so the juices redistribute.
