How does the comparison work?

It parses both inputs and walks the two trees by key and array index, recording every leaf that was added, removed or changed along with its dotted path, such as tags[1] or limits.upload.

Does key order in objects matter?

No. Objects are compared by key, not by order, so reordering properties is not reported as a difference. Array elements are compared by position.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No — both documents are parsed and compared entirely in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.
