What contrast ratios count as accessible?

WCAG AA needs 4.5:1 for normal text or 3:1 for large or bold text. AAA needs 7:1. The grid labels each pair Fail, AA Lg, AA or AAA accordingly.

How do I read the grid?

Each cell uses the row colour as the background and the column colour as the text, so you see both the live preview and the measured contrast ratio.

Is my palette stored anywhere?

No. All ratios are computed locally in your browser using the standard WCAG relative-luminance formula and nothing is uploaded.
